Easter 2010

Easter was a filled day that started very early. The Easter bunny showed up but then we rushed off so that the girls were able to join Gramma at Sunday school.
After a wonderful lunch we had a egg hunt and had a chance to take some pictures. I realized Gramma was the only one that got a picture of our family so I will have to ask for that one to be sent to us. The others turned out great and we had a nice day once again spent with family. Not shown are the adorable Easter baskets that Gramma made for the girls using fabric. They are enjoying toting them around the house.

Picture catch up....

This is a work in progress. I have gathered all my pictures, my grandmother's picture's, my Mother and Father's pictures, along with a few from my Auntie's pictures and have been organizing them for over a month now. It has been a huge challenge. I have managed to make a file for every person in my family and added their pictures in it. I have categories such as group shots, vehicles, animals, and finally friends to name a few. It is coming together nicely and I am in hopes of finishing it up this week. I am so glad that I can get these done now while I remember most all the names and dates, years for them. This really important to have these organized for future generations to come. I have also made each of the girls a shoe box full of the duplicates from my school days and family pictures of their ancestors. That way they can have them ready for use and do not have to search for them or wonder who's who. NEXT, to catch up on my last 3 years of scrap booking..... now that's a ch0re. Where did the tie go?????

She's not our baby anymore.....

McKenzie turned 3 on the 18th of Feb. How exciting in so many ways. We had a nice party filled with family and friends the Sunday that followed. It's so hard to imagine that she has been potty trained and lost a dear friend(Binky) before she turned 3. What a big, knows what she wants and tries to get it no fear child. Oh, how we love her so...........

Happy 5th Birthday Marley

Happy 5th Birthday Marley!!!!!
OK, so it's really hard to believe that we have a 5 year old. Where did all those years go. We have cherished each and every day with our first born. She is truly a princess in our eyes. We whooped her birthday up at a Pump it up party in Tacoma. All the kids and some adults seemed to enjoy them selves. Next Month McKenzie's 3rd Birthday...WOW.

Better late than never....

Well a new year and lets hope it's not as sorrow filled as last year. This will be a very busy year for us all I am sure. Hopefully, we can all be healthy during it as well.

Paul and I are working on a little project OK it's a pretty big little project, I am working on downloading the camera for the first time since September (how bad is that) so that I can give you a little sneak peak of what we have been spending so much time on. It's turning out just as I imagined.

I always see these beautiful wooden coat racks from Germany but they are so expensive and not very big. So as I always do I thought up some crazy idea to keep Paul and I busier than ever to create one of our own on our own level of AWESOME!!! Of course, I wanted trees on it, a sun , grass , hills, and a huge rainbow. We will be able to change the scenery around a tad to add a horse or animals. It has tree branches from my dads place for hangers. It will be magnificent. It should be done this week. Yippee!!!!!!!!!! Paul and I both cut out the shapes of all the trees and hills. Paul does most of the sanding and I will do all the painting. He put the hangers into the back board. Still some sanding, painting, and assembly to do this week.
