Gross! OUCH!!!!!!

Notice that these things are huge!!
Ok this is gross but it is reality of what I had to go through and what it looked like. I had sinus surgery last Thursday and it was well better than I anticipated but yet still unbelievably uncomfortable. The splints were the worse. They make it so that you can not breath or sniff through your nose for 5 days! So getting past that and all the nausea from the Oxycontin that they gave me I had the splints removed. One word..... no two..... Gross and Painful! Instantly, after they take the splints out I could breath but my nose feels "raw" in side... which it is. I am feeling better each day but still do not have much energy and the tubes they put in my ears are still giving me problems of getting used to them. When adults get tubes in there ears it a bit different than kids the Dr. says I evidently have to learn how to hear again and all I get are muffled sounds, buzzing, and air swooshing. VERY ANNOYING! The phone is really hard to hear people. The surgery will help me get less frequent sinus, ear infections and for a shorter period of time. So I think it was worth it. Those days of 5 -6 weeks of not breathing through my nose with a old are hopefully in the past. Thanks to my Mother in Law: Kathy who was so very helpful getting us through another health ordeal in life.
